1) Most chocolate products are filled with bad ingredients like hydrogenated oils and processed milk powers.
It’s best to make your own chocolate by mixing coconut oil & pure cacao powder (1/1 ratio). If you gently warm the coconut oil it will liquefy and be easy to mix with the cacao powder. Sweeten to taste with stevia and/or honey. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and store in the refrigerator for it to harden.
2) Never consume milk with chocolate because the milk blocks the absorption of many antioxidants in the cacao.
3) Cacao beans have many naturally occurring toxins and anti-nutrients that may cause mild liver damage. Most of these toxins are neutralized by traditional methods of processing cacao beans such as cooking and fermenting.
Therefore, it is best to avoid chocolate that is advertised as “raw” or “unfermented”, as it will contain lots of these naturally occurring toxins.
4) This recipe is a great replacement for store-bought chocolate bars. If you want to see how I make healthy hot chocolate, check out my youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHE4Y3vTrmw via Eternal Life Fan Club http://ift.tt/2d8idG9
